Palm beach Gardens, FL 33418 I purchased leather/leather match furniture from Rothman Furniture in St. Louis, MO around September, 2001. At the time of purchase I chose to get the 5 years extended warranty through stainsafe. I've had the furniture for 3 years without any claims at all. About a month ago, the leather match (vinyl) began to crack along a seem where it meets the actual leather. I decided to wait a few weeks and make sure none of the other arms did the same thing.

Sure enough the other arm on the chair, plus the arm on the sofa did the same. So I call them up, wait on hold for almost an hour, and finally get through to somebody. The lady asked me to describe where each problem is on each piece of furniture, and when they occurred. Honest me, I tell her the first one happened a month ago, and that we waited to see if the others would do the same. She said I did not

file the claim within 5 DAYS of the occurrence, so they would not process my claim. To add to this, the are telling us that we can not file a claim for any other problems in the same general area of these

problems (the arms). This company is nothing but a fraud. I paid for an extended warranty, yet the deny my claims because of technicality, even though I am well within the 5 year warranty that I

PAID FOR. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Florida Attorny General. I have also contacted the furniture store where I made my purchase. They are going to contact stainsafe, but I doubt they get anywhere with these con artists. If you're thinking of purchasing an extended warranty through, just remember, there is no warranty.
