I was trying to call Barstow, Ca. Walmart at 6:30pm on 6-5-05 to ask a question about returning a television. I didn't want to waste the gas and time of going all the way to the store and being turned away if I couldn't return it. I called and the call was directed to the fitting room. I told the lady in the fitting room I had a question about a television.
Before I could finish my sentence she cut me off and told me to hold. When she came back I told her I had a question about a television and she cut me off and transfered me to electronics. I didn't want electronics because I was asking about a return but she didn't let me finsih my sentence.
When somebody answered in electronics I asked him to transfer me to the service desk. I don't know if the transfer went through so I called back again and just asked the lady to transfer me to the service desk. She did, it was ringing and I heard somebody pick it up and hang it up. I called back again and asked them to transfer me to the desk. I was on hold for a while just like the last time and the lady from the fitting room answered and redirected my call again to the service desk. Once again I heard somebody pick up the phone and hang it up.
I called back again and asked for the service desk and I was on hold for a while and somebody hung up on me for the THIRD time. This was almost a half hour later of trying to ask a question if I could return a television or not. I called back again to try and talk to somebody from the service desk I was on hold for 9 minutes and was hung up on again. 39 minutes later I still didn't receive an answer and am very frustrated.
