Dear Sir,

I have been informed, vide your letter that my telephone number has been changed from 25917695 to 28315695. However, to my surprise I find that this number when dialled, is giving connection to some other address.

The above problem is being faced by me since the number was changed 15 days back. In the above circumstances I made an effort to call to the number 28312000, at 2.30 p.m, on 6.06.05, when I was informed that no responsible person was available in that office to attend to my complaint.

In view of above I request for the following

i) That I MAY BE INFORMED THE COORECT TELEPHONE NUMBER

ii) That I may not be liable for the rent for the period under which my telephone is being misused by the other consumer, probably with the understanding of some of your staff member

iii) That in case it is not possible for mtnl, to correct the above, I may be informed so that I may surrender the mtnl services and opt for other services.
