hi, I would like take adivce from u regarding my rental room. We ( I and my friends) are staying in bangalore.

In March 2005 we took a room located in Madiwala. we have given an Advance of 30 thousnad to Owner. we had an agreement with Owner for this. The problem is that when ever rain comes water is coming into my room.

So we decided to vacate that room.

As per the Agreement we told about this to owner one month prior to the Vacation. but owner is not returning my money. he said "what ever u want u can do.. I don't give money, u can go to police station.. if u want.." he also said " If some one comes into that room I will give money to u otherwise.. I won't" could u tell me what we can do now... we don't belief in going to Police station, as we are non-local to this place. Even If we go for P.S it will take much time.. please suggest what we can do in this situation..
