I have a 2000(Year) 3500, crew cab truck. We have two issues with it. One is with the switch that controls the windows and doors. Almost everyone we know that has a GMC has the sam sort of issue. It seems to only work part of the time. It's like they are cheap switches or faulty switches.

Second is on the tail gate support cables. Ours rusted through and broke, dropping our tail gate. There is a recall on the 1500 and 2500 that has the same part. I don't understand why there is not one on the 3500, since it is the same cable from the same company. We had to purchase 2. We only have 49000 miles on the truck and take very good care of it.
