My husband and I purchased a hot tub from Master Spas of Long Island on February 19, 2005. We were told it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. It took 8 weeks, and that is only because we kept after them. The day it was delivered, we filled it up. When we turned it on, the main line for the #2 pump blew right out. With that...400 gallons of water all over my back yard! It took a few days for them to come and fix it after many phone calls. This tub has leaked since the day it was delivered. We practically have to beg them to come out to fix it, and when they do they leave and the tub is still leaking! We have had to fill and heat the tube 5 times since we had it delivered 2 months ago! The tub is ruining my property. The new patio we had poured for the tub is ruined from constant standing water and yard debris.

 

We also purchased (from another company) a redwood gazebo with bar stools and bar that is being ruined from sitting in a constant puddle of water! If you are lucky, you may get someone to answer the telephone in their main office, but they tell you what you want to hear and never help. Mr. Richard Tamberino has ignored our telepone calls. I was told by a representative (Jeffiner Garn) that they looked at the tub, and don't know why it is leaking...what kind of answer is that??? We purchased a hot tub for $5,000. It leaks. We have a service contaract, you do what you can to find the leak! They are blaming our patio...saying that water is coming from under the tub. Why is the water line in the tub going down then if it is not leaking??? This situation is just obscene!!! MASTER SPAS OF LONG ISLAND IS A RIP OFF. PLEASE DON'T FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP THAT WE DID. We have a tub that leaks...not to mention property damage and a tremendous electric and water bill! Richard Tamberino and Master Spas of Long Island has our money. Mr. Tamberino is ignorning our telephone calls. We are at our witts end now...I guess we have to take legal action if he does not respond soon...BEWARE!!!!
