Fraudulant Sale of Copier tonier cartridge, at 10 times it's usual cost. They told my office staff that I had ordered this, got our fax number and faxed an order confirmation. We never recieved any delivery but they are billing us $498.00 for a single toner cartridge. This is a scam pure and simple.

Be very careful of this company.

The person who suggested contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General was a savior! After I was scammed, I contacted IDC (a rep named Alice Maldonado was absolutely NO help and didn't even try to investigate into this fraud, and instead blamed me for the incident) and after many tries of contacting the Corporate Supply Center (no one answers and there was no answering machine at the moment), I went online and filed complaints with all 3. I didn't even bother calling IDC or Corporate Supply after the fact, and sure enough....after they were contacted by the BBB, FTC, and Attorney General they called me directly. (Took about 2 weeks)

Weeks later I get a call from "the manager" at the Corporate Supply Center, and BOY was he angry! AND he even had the nerve to tell me that I was a liar for stating that they said they were with Xerox! HelloOOoo! I never contacted you guys in the first place! Then Jim Snodgrass from IDC called, apologizing for the inconvenience and he set up a return through UPS without charging me for anything. (What can I tell you, Mr Manager from Corporate Supply.....Douches never prosper)

Needless to say, on Friday morning I received ANOTHER call....after ALL THAT DRAMA....from another guy claiming to be with Xerox and telling me that he would offer me a lower price of $400 something dollars. When I said it didn't sound right and I wanted his name and number, he hung up on me right away. These guys are relentless. The best thing you can do for your company is to make them aware of such scams so that this problem can be stopped right away. I have never in my life dealt with any kind of fraud and I only wish that I had knowledge of this beforehand. And if they DO get you just drag them through the legal system. From realizing it was a scam until I was able to get the product returned, it took about a month.

Jim,

Believe me, your company on some level contacted my customer. Please see:

http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS124614+26-May-2009+BW20090526

It shows one is the distrobution side and the other is the AR, sales side. It is your responsibility to show that any business "partner" you have that engages in deceptive business practices no longer do business with Mytel/GMN. Toshiba sued you and won that case already. If things dont change in my marketplace, Toshiba wont be the only one taking you through the court system. Your business is a fraud and you hurt peoples income by your deceptive practices.

I went through the same thing with Central Supply Warehouse and IDCServco. Someone from CSW called saying we'd ordered toner from them before and that the price of toner had recently went up. He said his manager put us on his call list to offer the cheaper priced toner since we were not notified before the price increase. So, he sold me (a new, naive receptionist) a box of $500 toner. After signing the authorization form (I know, stupid me), I started to think about how high it was priced. I started researching the toner online and found that it only costs $95. When we received the toner (via UPS), I refused the package. When IDCServco received the refused toner, they immediately called me saying I signed the waiver, I owe the money. I then informed them that I had filed a claim with the California Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trace Commission and the Attorney General's Office....they backed off. Apparently they received follow-ups from the three claims offices because I started receiving phone calls from CSW and IDC to rectify the matter. They were very courteous this time around, waived all charges and asked if I was happy with the transaction. I said I was just happy I didn't have to pay for the scam. Also, I don't know if IDC is in cohoots w/CSW or not, but when I told the guy at IDC that i was upcharged nearly 5 times the price of toner, he sounded genuinely shocked. I think they are the warehouse people who ship out the material sold by CSW. I'm not sure, but if you get scammed by these people file a complaint with:

Better Business Bureau: http://www.bbb.org/

Federal Trade Commission: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

Attorney General's Office: http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general.php

Hope this helps.

These people are a COMPLETE scam..they trick you into ordering and then never pull through and then invoice you incessantly for the products you apparently "ordered." They just called again and when I tried to tell them we no longer want their service, they HUNG UP on me! These people are baaad news.

One time a few months ago, someone called and asked our receptionist if they could fax over something to show their rates and what they offer. She said sure. They got her name and our fax number and then turned around and pretended that she made a verbal contract with them. First of all she was just a temporary receptionist and never places orders or signs for ANYTHING. When the shipment arrived it was put in the supply closet and no one knew that it had come from their company and not our usual company. It wasn't until accounting got the bill that it was discovered but by that time some toners were already used. We were forced to pay for 5 shipments because of some supposed legal binding contract verbally made on the phone by a person with no authority to do so who did not even agree to this contract in the first place; she would never do that as she knows better than to enter agreements. It's not her position.

I just received a call today from a Brad Richardson. That is the name he told me. He said he was in the freight department of IDCServco and that they are our toner supplier. I said I don't recognize that name and have never seen a PO. He said he had no idea what phone number to give me and gave me an invoice number. I repeatedly asked him for any number to where he was or to IDCServco. He said he didn't know it. I said well them let me google you real quick. He got very nervous and quickly asked me if I would like someone to call me back. I called the 800 number I found off their website and they asked what company was he from. He said he was just from IDCServco. Now the rep Alice at extension 556 said there is no freight department and there is no Brad Richardson. I looked up our invoice history and saw that we also paid GNM Financial Services, Inc. for this bill. I looked them up and this is the same exact address as IDCServco. I called and asked for Brad Richardson. They said we don't have anyone by that name. I have learned that this is their code name and I see the scam and will bring this to the attention of the authorities ASAP.

IDCSERVCO is a fraud company and JIM SNOBGRASS is certainly a liar. I spoke to you on numerous occasions. you messed with the wrong individual and you lost again. That is why you found out that your sales companies are shell companies that fall under Mytel International along with IDC Servco. So maybe IDC did not contact this customer but a peice of your company did.

Also, you are in breach of a court agreement when you decided to not sever your business relationship with Smith Office Supplies which misrepresented themselves to 12 of my customers saying they represented my company. The FTC and Culver City Police have been contacted...and I have contacted your CEO at his home to speak with him about this matter. Play nice, expecially in my area or the athorities will take care of business.

IDC SERVCO IS A FRAUD. Their sales representatives come off like they are a Xerox representative requesting copier counts, and faxing over a confirmation to receive a toner. A week later, we are invoiced $600 to a toner. The same toner cartridge straight from Xerox costs $94.00.

Stay Clear of this Company.

IDCSERVCO of Culver, California

The same thing happened with our business in Florida. It looks like Toshiba doesn't care much for IDCSERVCO either.

IDC SERVCO are down right crooks.

Same story here 1 box of toner for $440.00 plus $40 in shipping where the toner cost from Minolta is $70.00.

I called them and immediately they starting reducing the cost. I said no I will ship it back for the $100 restocking fee, they said "no please keep and tell me what you wil pay"

These guys are real low lifes!!!!

We had a similar problem with them. We never ordered anything from them and still received a invoice six times the normal price of the toner. Be very careful of this company. They are big fraud.
