Shark cordless swivel sweeper

I bought a Sharp swivel sweeper from the TV. I bought it 4-11-05. I love it!!!

However, I am out of town all but maybe a week a month which means my sweeper has not even used to battery up yet. The light comes on but the sweeper will not work at all.I have bought 7 of these from a retail store at 1/2 the cost I paid for mine on the TV.

All the others work and mine doesn't. I hope will make this right with me. Actually, I love it.!!! Thank you for your response,
