TigerDirect rebates by onrebate.com

I purchased a barebones PC from TigerDirect on June 1st, 2005. Several rebates were part of the deal. Unfortunately, two of them, one for memory and another for a Maxtor hard drive had to be redeemed through Onrebate.com. I strictly followed the rebate instructions, but now Onrebate.com is denying both of them for what they say is "conflicting data." I contacted them via email (don't even try by phone) and asked if I could resubmit them. I got two responses today, both restating that the rebates had been denied, but now for different reasons than originally stated. I tried to get help from TigerDirect, but they said to call Onrebate.com. Their product selection and shipping may be great, but their after-sale customer support sucks. My advice is to steer clear of rebates on TigerDirect purchases, especially those redeemed through Onrebate.com. I know I sure will. Click this link to e-mail the message author: Email User
