I have purchased General Electric Appliances for over 20 years. I even went out of my way and waited and special ordered my General Electric Refrigerator 7 years ago. I also purchased a GE washer and

dryer, when I could have chose a cheaper brand, a Sears Product, 7 years ago at a Sears Dept. Store. I stuck with GE because of their longivity and quality. I have always paid for the additional maintenance agreement on all my 5 GE APPLIANCES. After waiting for a planned GE SERVICE CALL, FOR TWO WEEKS, THE REPAIR MAN SHOWED UP AT MY HOME TODAY TO FIX A HOSE PROBLEM WITH MY WASHING MACHINE. A few hours after the GE repair man left my home, I was going to do wash my clothes in my "newly repaired washing machine". I couldnt turn the handles either the HOT or COLD faucet handles, they were too tight. I had a neighbor come over, he at 200 pounds, could not turn on the faucets either. I immediately called the GE service consumer complaint dept. to try and get the repair man back to my home to fix these frozen faucet handles. The GE customer service rep. "
