After e-mail Winnebago Ind. this message also, a very nice man responded with a phone call after talking with him and explaining all the problems we have had he said that they will be covered under warranty. So were very happy that someone did see our e-mail and respond to it. Sometimes you just have to keep looking until you find that wright person. Thanks again for your response

July 8, 2005 - Consumer Message:

We bought the motor home on 27th of June 2005 we went to SC three days later, the injectors went out on it, Called CAT they bring it up here the next morning and we did we were on our way to the Cherokee Mtn. for a vacation had reservation three days later after who's problem it was Cat or Freightliner's. We have had water leaks closet doors that would not stay closed, the bedroom slide stop working engine light keeps coming on and now we have had awning problems. Its seems there's no ending to the problems.

The electric awning was not working right it would not stay out but about 15 seconds and the retract it self, it rain one night and it broke right in the middle of the awning. Now the dealer says the awning is not covered under warranty. So now it will cost around $2000.00 for a new one. We also called Winnebago Ind. Who claim they would call the dealer for us. Dealer claims they had no record of me calling Winnebago. Please reply to out complaints and forward them to the appropriate person.
