I tried to contact Sony about a problem I was having with my CD duplicator-- with absolutely no success in any regard. You cannot get a human to talk to.
I could have related the problem in 2 minutes had I been able to talk to someone. None of the canned options provided on the screen remotely related to my problem. Finally, for a fee of around $16 or $18 I was informed I could verbalize my problem. After paying the fee, a ROBOT got on the line who was absolutely no help whatever. It was like talking to a coffee pot! THEN, I was informed that if my question has not yet been satisfied, for ANOTHER fee of the same amount, I could go to the next level.
So I again paid the 16 or 18 dollars and got that same damned robot who started with exactly the same spiel. ABSOLUTE FRAUD. Never, never, never buy a Sony product that can't be fixed by some entity OTHER than Sony.
