Two weeks before the 4th of July, I called Honda Marine in Seattle and asked what their waiting list for repairs on my 8hp outboard looked like... they told me they could prolly get it done by the end of the week if I brought it in soon…. 4 days. I brought it in early the next morning. It has now been three weeks, I’ve missed the 4th of July, and they have not even looked at it yet. This is the second time I’ve had it there and have had similar troubles both times. I highly recommend NOT going to Honda Marine on North Lake Union in Seattle. the honda marine center seattle might have moved under the inflatable boatworks ownership, but the service department itself is still run by the same people. Same bad service as before.

Only improvement is that the uber-bitch receptionist seems to not be working there anymore, so you don't get abused over the phone anymore. Now it's just a complete waste of time to deal with these guys, with the inflatable boatworks guys trying their best to stay professional covering for the service department.

Honda Marine Center Seattle has new ownership and a new location as of August 1, 2007

We are now located at 5105 Leary Avenue NW in Ballard, next to Carter SAAB, When the new facility is completed in 2008, we will move across the street to 5130 Leary Avenue NW.
