Big on Digital has awful customer service. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone and when you do, they promise things that don't happen. I placed my order and my credit card was charged on May 27, 2005. When I hadn't received my order by June 16, 2005, I tried to get in contact with customer service at Big on Digital. No one responded to my email and I could not get through by phone, because all of the voicemail boxes were full. Finally, when my husband emailed every email he could find on the web-site, we got a call from Jerry (I believe he said he was the customer service manager). He told us our order was lost and damaged (on the TV). It wasn't until I mentioned the DVD player that he responded with an "I still have to check on the DVD they were sent separately".

He said they were sending us another one shipped overnight and we would have it by June 24th, or the 27th "1000 and 10%" he said. Well today (now July 6, 2005) is the 3rd day I have stayed home to receive a call from the shipping company "Seiko" saying the TV was not on the truck. We did receive the DVD UPS June 23rd. I took the steps to get my money back through BOD, but they refused to give me a Return Authorization Number unless I agreed to pay 7% for a restocking,and shipping fee. My credit card company is currently disputing the charges.

I am going to try and return the DVD anyway, without an RA#, even though they said they would refuse it. I just want people to be aware of the emotional roller coaster I have been on for a TV purchase. People need to be warned of the bad service they can receive from BOD. Next time I go to the store and pay extra for next day delivery. At least I know I can speak with someone in person if something goes wrong, and I won't have to deal with 50 shinanogans to get my money back if I never receive the order.
