Drycleaning / Laundry

Dryclean Outlet, 14402 Chantilly Crossing Lane, Chantilly, VA On July 5, 2005, I went to Dryclean Outlet and submitted 2 shorts for drycleaning and pointed out the food stains for special attention and removal. The clerk (Milton White) suggested that the shorts be laundered instead drycleaned to remove the stains. I mentioned to the clerk that I previously had items laundered as recommended and was not satisfied with the results that came out, that is the shirts and pants came out wrinkled.

I also informed him that I previously had the same shorts drycleaned and the results were positive and indicated that he mark the stains with tape. He debated that the tape could potentially come off and they may not be able to remove the stains if the tape comes off. I told him that I am a regular customer and they have always taped the stains on my dryclean items and this was never raised as a problem and that the results were always positive. I then asked him if I could talk to the manager and the clerk said that he is the manager.

Then I requested if I could talk to the owner and he also indicated that he was the owner. He said that if I am not satisfied addressing my concerns with him that I take my business elsewhere. I proceeded to continue and do business with this company because I reasoned that this possibly could not be the manager and owner the way he was not receptive and value me as a regular customer. Afterwards, I went home and went on the internet to research the business owner for Dryclean Outlet, which is Phillip Yun.

I contacted the store again and Milton concurred that Phillip Yun was the business owner but he is never at the store and cannot be reached. Then he hung up on me. The next day, July 6, 2005, I contacted Milton again and this time he gave me Mr. Yun's private telephone number. I contacted Mr. Yun and informed him that I would like to file a complaint against Milton White based on yesterday's event.

Mr. Yun indicated that help is hard to find and indicated that I was wrong not to take the recommendation and that if I had any problems that I should go back to Milton White to have it resolved. I told him that if he is concurring that I, as a customer, should take my business elsewhere as Milton White suggested and he supports the poor customer service that I experienced from his company, then that is exactly what I should do. Mr. Yun slammed the phone down in my ear. This clearly indicates that Dryclean Outlet does not value its customers that sustain his business to survive.
