Best Buy in Folsom, CA and in San Carlos, CA
On 5/29/05 I purchased a plasma at the Folsom, CA Best Buy store. A friend of mine purchased the same item in San Carlos, CA Best Buy store on 5/27/05. We both have not yet received our certificates. 2 weeks ago I emailed BB (Best Buy). They emailed me back stating my $105 certificates had been issued to my address on 7/1/05. Today is 7/30/05 and I have nothing. 2 days ago I emailed again asking Issued means Mailed to my home? I also stated the US postal service is not that slow. Does the certificate come from India via container ship? No reply.
I went to the BB store on 5/28/05. Samantha at Customer service called the Reward Zone. Told me if I enter my email address I would receive the $105 in certificates via email in 2 weeks. Why does email take 2 weeks?? The "mailed" certificates have now been invalidated she said. Wow, that sure went fast. My friend in San Carlos also went to her BB store today. She was told to do the opposite. Change from receiving via email to receiving via postal service. We both were told that a new issue date is assigned and the 90 days will begin from this one. BB emailed me stating the issue date is the date when I got entered into the system not the date the certificates are mailed. Heck, in this computerized world, I am sure I got entered into the system when I bought the $10 membership.
This Reward Zone program is a sure case for a class action law suit. A total scam.
