US Airway Travel Vouchers

Myself and my husband in May received a travel voucher from US Airways for giving up our seats on a flight from Nashville, TN to Philadelpia PA. We tried several times to book a flight using these vouchers and always told there were no seats available. During the month of June I called US Airway customer service department regarding the vouchers and was told I could sell them, due to the fact my name was on those vouchers and they were transferable. Also, no where on the voucher did it say I couldn't sell them. Also I seached the website and couldn't find any information on travel vouchers. I put the vouchers on E-bay for a period of 5 days. They sold on E-bay but the deal fell through. During the month of July I tried to use one of the vouchers at the airport and was told by the person at the counter that they had been stolen. She gave me a number to consumer affairs, after 3 phone calls and over 90 minutes I was finally directed to the Director of Security a J. Manning, who never returned my phone calls, I finally reached him and he informed me that on the voucher it says you can't sell the voucher and also on US Airways website. US Airways has confiscated the vouchers, but I know it doesn't state it on the voucher "not for sale" , I still haven't been able to locate a section on US Airways website regarding travel vouchers. US Airways Customer Service Department told me it was ok and the voucher doesn't indicate you can't sell them. According to Consumer Affairs with US Airways I have violated their policy. I receive a different answer everytime I call. The ones in charge of making the decision don't know what a voucher looks like and and apparently don't check their own website.
