In June of 2003, I received a phone call from Mike Jones offering to sell our timeshare in the Bahamas. We were interested, so we listened to his sales pitch. According to him they do all sorts of radio advertising, websearch engines, and promotional events (giving away trips, etc.) to get people in front of their listings. The price for listing our timeshare was $600 with a 100% money back guarantee if no buyer found in a year.

We checked out their website, thought everything looked and sounded OK, so we paid via credit card.

He sent an invoice /agreement via email (but the sent date, Jan. 2002, was strangely incorrect, as if their computer was not programmed with the correct date/time).

I called to check on any prospective buyers in Dec. 2003. Mike Jones no longer worked there, but Daniel Hitchcock was the new rep handling my listing. He assured me they would have a buyer very soon. We were willing to drop the price, but they were hesitant to change the listing.

I called different times in 2004 only to get an answering machine whose voicemailbox was full!

Finally in Jan. 2005 I somehow found out the 800# gave a local number - 727-819-1590 and KH Global Resorts was now listed as KH Enterprise with a new email address: Email User and new website: www.KHEnterprise.org with my listing #AD1079 still on their website!! When I called the new number, I got a recording that customer service was Monday through Friday 9:00 to 3:30 (even though my calls were during that time)

I emailed them on January 19, 2005, with no reply. One January 26, 2005, I mailed a letter with return receipt (green card) and received the card back signed by "C R Lean" stamped January 29, 2005, but have not received any calls or written correspondence from them.

It is now July, 2005, their website is still up; however the phone numbers have been disconnected, and the fax number 727-819-0635 rings without anyone answering.

Any advice on a next step? Is it worth suing? Anyone know costs to file something against them?
