White vinyl Anderson windows turn black

I've had a reputable door and window company install several Anderson windows which work well. Unfortunately, the white vinyl plastic cover on the outside turns black. Anderson refused to reply to the installer after 2 years of complaining. After year 3, the local Service rep came to see the problem and decided it was caused by exposure to the sun. So, after year 4, Anderson has denied all responsibility, as the window gets blacker and blacker. Eventually, the vinyl will start to decompose. This was caused by the sun?

This is Arizona, we have 300 days of intense sun. If Anderson sells a product in Arizona, it should function properly in Arizona, otherwise it is fraud. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Please contact me, because I am an expert in plastics chemistry and know why it happens. (I teach it at Arizona State University). Reading other window complaints, it appears that all window manufacturers are doing so much business they don't care about the quality of their products and automatically deny all responsibility.
