I paid Serenity Travel Services $3331.00 to book a trip to Mexico for me and my husband's 20th year wedding anniversary. The trip was to Playa del Carmen at the Royal Hideaway and was to take place on Aug.3rd. It was a funjet vacation package which included airfare, hotel, taxes, etc. I paid a deposit of 438.00 by credit card in May- I paid a balance of 2893.00 by check in June 2005. The check was cashed on June 6 by the travel agency and a receipt was received on June 25th showing paid in full. Inquired on July 15 regarding travel documents-was told by Stacy that they are coming.

 

Tried repeatedly to contact agency again from 7-25 through 7-27 and unable to reach anyone.I inquired myself on the status of the trip w/ the airlines and funjet vacations and was told that there was a trip originally booked in May, but the trip cancelled out on July 9 because payment was not received by the travel agency. Travel agency has not returned our money and we have no trip scheduled. We have not been able to reach Serenity Travel Services and plan to file a case in small claims court against them.
