General Mills Free Box Promo

General Mills is promoting a "free box of cereal when you log on with the code inside this box". There are no date ranges, can get as many free boxes as you have code, UPC bar code & register receipt with rebate requests postmarked no later than May 30, 2006. When you go up on the web site and enter the code and print the form it has an activation date, which is the date you print the form, unless you purchased the cereal that day you can not redeem it because the register receipt must have the same date. When I called them to complain i was told you have to purchase the first box of cereal and then you would get the rebate on the second box...not what their offer says and nothing about having to enter code on same day of purchase. I don't even think they know what they are really saying.
