Dear Sirs/Madams, We would like to share our bad experience with PINNACLE Travel Agent which located at #02-15 Peninsula Plaza Singapore (telp# 6332 1522, fax# 6332 1577). On June/3005 we booked 1 (one) standard room for one night (check-in july/3) at First World Hotel/ Genting thru this travel agent, but when we would like to check in on July/3 by showing Pinnacles service voucher, receiptionist of the hotel can not find find our booking at their record/computer. After arguing with the hotel, finally we can get the room but we hv to pay/deposit RM105. As there was no other choice, as we also could not contact Pinnacle as their office is close on Sundays. Due to this, we had to pay double. Hotels side already rechecked with this booking on Monday (July/4), but the result is same (they still could not find our booking). Actually this case should not been happened, as Ms Geraldine of Pinnacle said that this hotels booking already confirmed, when we picked this voucher at Pinnacles office on July/1. But when we complained to Pinnacle/ Ms Geraldine Sim on July/8 (after we came back to Jakarta/Indonesia) and we also had sent/faxed all evidence, but she asked us to wait and wait - as of today (July/15) there is no settlement on this case. The amount is not big, but this made our trip un-comfort and Pinnacles response is also bad, which make us very disappointed and upset. We also would like to send this complaint to Singapores newspaper and Singapore tourism council. Please kindly someone advise how to do.
