We paid $7663.00 to Custom Surface Solutions (Tom Sawyer & Tom Gadget) Hickory, NC to repair and Perma*Crete* our driveway. Within a few weeks the driveway was cracking in places all over and the Perma*Crete* was coming off at the cracks. Also, the drive was not sealed properly, entire spots were missed. We called Tom Sawyer over and over with no response. After numerous calls he sent someone out to check the driveway. We were advised they were behind on jobs but they would be back to fix our driveway as soon as possible.

I sent him an email months later and he sent me a return email advising he was still behind and would fix the driveway. We are honest people so we took his word as being honest also. After being put off by him for over a year, we referred him to the Better Business Bureau. He advised them he intended to fix the driveway. It will be three years in October and we have heard nothing from him at all. Our driveway has not been repaired. We are seniors and feel he took advantage of us when we were trusting of him. We believe he is operating another business now in and around Hickory so beware of TOM SAWYER.
