(570) 549 3641 P.O. Box 201 Mainesburg, PA 16932 I am writing to try to warn people about the claims made by this company. They claim you will make $400.00 by assembling 60 refrigerator magnets. This is a lie. AFTER you register with them, you will find out that YOU must purchase all the materials to manufacture the magnets. They offer to sell you the items needed for 60 magnets, for a little under $100.00. I might not be a mathematical genius, but that seems to make my profi $300.00 for 60 magnets. They also claim in the registation packet that all materials are available in local craft stores.
This is another lie. After visiting 3 craft stores, and 2 fabric stores, I could only find about 20% of the required materials to make the magnets, which requires you to purchase assembly materials from them exclusively. They also claim it is simple work. if you buy the materials from Nat'l Home Assemblers, you get materials for 62 magnets. If you are a craft enthusiast, this might be simple work, but you only get 2 chances to mess up per 60 magnets, and some of the work is very tidious. After practicing for close to an hour with dimensional fabric paint, I still could not do the required work. (and I assemble precision models as a hobby.) Finally, You will have to pay tax on the money you make (no taxes are taken out of pay) so, I don't see anyone making more than $250.00 after all is said and done. I am hoping more people will be saved time and money by writing you. The entire cost to register is about $60.00, a steep price to pay just to find out you've been lied to.
