SBC Communications Company, Tulsa Oklahoma I have had DSL service with Southwestern Bell now SBC since it was available. During the course of time SBC had the ISPs bill for their DSL and now have moved it back to them. When I moved my DSL back to SBC, I had to sign a one year contract, even though I had been using their hardware since 1997.

Now I have the ability to move to a new house and since SBC does not offer coverage they are charging me 200.00 early dismissal of contract obligation. The remaining DSL time I have is 6 months at 26.95 which is equivalent to only 162.00 (rounded). This company rapes consumers with this gimmick. If they can't supply coverage they charge you more than what you owe if you stayed in your existing house. I am very disturb by the way this company operates and I feel sorry for all the people in Tulsa who have lost their jobs and had to move. If they had SBC DSL they were screwed twice, once by their company and once by SBC.
