I moved recently to an area that Alltel is lack of service coverage. The customer service which I had called for a few weeks deferred me for technical support. I even changed my phone no. and went to an authorized store trying to solve the no service problem. Finally, the store representative told me that Alltel cannot provide the service at my location. I try to cancel the service without the $200. early withdraw fee. Alltel refused to allow no fee withdrawal.
I called the Custom Service Representative again. She told me that my contract states that the I cannot cancel the service due to no coverage without a penalty. I cannot imaged that a business can allow to operate that way. Is there any law said that if no service is a ground for consumers cancellation without any penalty. Alltel is aim at getting every penny from the consumer and disregard any service to a customer. I learn to research on a cell phone company prior to signing up with it.
