I was looking at different exercise equipment and went to different athletic stores in the area to find the perfect piece of euipment and I ended up deciding that I wanted an elliptical machine.

In the store a special was posted for the Proform C 630. It was on sale for $199.99. I spoke with a representative at the store and he advised that they had sold out of them but they were due to come in on Wednesday and he would call once they arrived.

I had not heard from them by Thursday and placed a phone call to the store and was told that they had arrived and they would place one on hold for me. I arrived at the store and there was not an elliptical machine to be found. I again left my name as it was to come in on Friday and have never heard back from them.

I checked the online store and they have the same elliptical machine in the online store but the price was $349.99. I emailed customer service at The Sports Authority and got a standard reply email. I then called their 800 customer serivce number. The man who answered the phone was terribly rude and would not match the price. He told me I could take my business whereever I wanted. - That is the plan now. Why would I spend any money at a store which offers no customer service.
