ACN - not cheaper OR better service ACN - not cheaper OR better service
My boyfriend got sucked into the (in my opinion) sham that is ACN. I told him that I've heard of MLM's like ACN in the past and that it usually doesn't work out, but he was defiant. Eventually I went to a meeting with him and was sucked in as well, I admit. To make a long story short, I have since discovered that: 1) When you become an ACN independent rep, you DON'T get paid on your customer's phone bills unless you are promoted to an ETT position within a month. To become an ETT you have to have 20 customer and 3 reps in a matter of a month - an impossible feat for most first time sales reps. 2) Their electric service is not cheaper. They try to fool you by saying they only charge a $2 or so customer charge, and you think that will replace the customer charge your regular provider charges. No. ACN charges you that customer charge, and other charges ON TOP of all the other charges from your original electric provider 3) When you sign up for any ACN service, they tell you "If you don't like it, we'll switch you back for free!" In actuality, all they mean by this statement is that THEY won't charge you anything to switch back. But Verizon, or whoever else you're switching back to may charge you a reconnection fee, that ACN does not cover. 4) When you become an ACN independent sales rep, you have to make an initial payment of about $500. Then EVERY YEAR you have to keep paying $99 in order to keep your status. They don't tell you that in their "sales meetings." 5) ACN has bad customer service and bad service period. I put in an order with ACN for my phone service for a distinctive ring #. A month later I call back and they still hadn't processed the order and had no idea why. I put an order in again, and guess what? They still never processed the order, and still didn't know why. I cancelled their service shortly thereafter. Wondering about whether ACN is the kind of company you want to be associated with? I was too. Don't do it!!! I just wish someone would have told me about their bad business practices before me and my now ex-boyfriend would have invested and lost $500. I'm pretty sure that you have had some technical and customer service challenges. We all do, with a majority of companies out there. Can you imagine what people, families are dealing with in the way of mortgage companies? Now there's a REAL challenge dealing with customers services and some cases REAL Shams. As an Independent Representative of ACN as well as business owner, you absolutely cannot get sucked into ACN. You can however get sold on an incedible opportunity that ACN and the Co-Founders provide to change YOUR life and everyone that you share the opportunity with. The only way that you could possible fail in YOUR ACN business is that you QUIT and/or not do anything. Example, you start your own cell phone store. $5000, you can provide services for 1 carrier, You need to lease a location, provide inventory, advertise and with just what I have mentioned, This will cost you a lot of money. Someone that cared enough about you, shared with you an opportunity to change your life for $499 (that's my electricity cost or 1 small ad at my preschool every month). Roni if not this, then what else is there, if not now then when, if not you then who? Roni ACN did not fail you and I am proud to be associated with such a great company, the co-founders, my incredibly caring mentors and leader of our organization. I have numerous family maembers across the states that are involved in ACN and it has already changed their lifes in so many ways. I truely hope that your ex-boyfriend stays with ACN an lives out his dreams and not let ANYONE try to steal that away from him again. Not for $499!!!!!! If you open a restaurant you have to be vigilant and watch every move each employee makes. This is after investing hundreds of thousands of dollars. The mortality rate is still close to 50%. How many places do go and say when you leave, that was a terrible and I am not going back; most likely often. How about the insurance business; I'm talking about an industry where sales people, usually life sales suffer near a 95% mortality rate. Why? Cause its not easy. If ACN were guaranteed, you would not paying only $500. Forget about it. Go it with a positive attitude as you must with anything and work the business. Now ACN's service and product are another thing. We cannot control that. Try calling the Gas Co. or a Verizon store and see how long you are on hold. Get involved with a good up line. Folks that are workers and want to help you. If you just want to sit there and do nothing, save your money and get a job like 96% of Americans. Oh incidently 100% minus 96% is 4% about the number of folks that make it big. Whats so hard to believe. You just have to work and be one of the few. The politicians every day want to take the money from the top 2% and give to all you folks that want to sit back and have your taxes reduced.
