Hi My name is Chris, I have HAD service with SBC for 21 yrs formally Pac bell and they are going to lose us.

 

We recently moved from Coalinga, to a new town in Grover beach California . I called they said they offered DSL in our area. I have DSL almost a year. move to another town. I called and complained about the Internet not being on or the phone lines. so I went out side and no one had hooked the phone lines up. Then I figured, well maybe the lines is not hooked up. oh goody guess what they was not. so I went outside and hooked it up. we had Internet and phone service again. Then I called one day because the net went down. it was one of the wires that came undone. so my husband put the wire back in and we were back up and running. then it did it again but this time the other side did it. so my husband went back outside and fixed it. but I was on the phone with a tech. I told them never mind my husband fixed it. thank you. so the storm that is in California.

 

well the Internet went out again. i was thinking hummmm do I call. I called and complained to one of the tech's. and they told me do to storms we will be down for up to 4 hours. in the mean time they had us on a disconnection notice that WE wasn't aware of my bill was paid up. I talked to a customer service they told me i wasn't in the disconnection status. so I go good but why is my dsl down. he told me he did not know why, he told me let me hook you up with the dsl side I go ok. the dsl side said do to storms. I go ok. then my husband called and complained after 4 1.2 hours they told him the same thing as me. but they also told him where was a wire problem, SBC said we would send someone out tomorrow to fix your problem with the DSL. we both said ok.

 

Today is 1/7/05 and it seems to me they disconnected one of my lines and my DSL. We then talk to a gentleman in Northern California that told us we are in the loop line for DSL, I see no problem with getting you back online. but let me talk it over with the Managers they talked about it they said NO. so We are Stuck with their equipment that we paid over 400. dollars for. and they will not refund us a dime back. so we have no chance of getting our service back at all. so I am pulling all my accounts from SBC like the phone, the Dish network, and the Internet service.at I don't have and etc. SBC FORMALLY PACBELL IS NOTHING BUT LIERS AND LIKE TO TAKE FROM PEOPLE WHO HAS BEEN WITH THEM FOR 21 YRS. THEIR DSL SERVICE SUCKS. I WILL WRITE EVERYONE OF THE NEWSPAPERS AND TELL THEM HOW SBC YAHOO DSL TREATED US AND SBC PHONE COMPANY. POOR SERVICE FOR PISSY PEOPLE. THAT THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS
