I keep getting recorded phone calls from a lawyers office. When I call back to find out why they are calling me I get very biligerent responses and then hung up on with no resolution. The number is 1-800-225-5050. If you can help me, I would appreciate it imensley.

I am Mable M

Thank you.

I'm also getting calls from these people, and at weird times. They call me when I'm in class, or any time between 8 and 10 pm. I've never heard of the person they're asking for, and it seems to me it's incredibly unprofessional to constantly be calling after their work hours (which means it's impossible to get a hold of them post-call). They have been calling me for months now, and I really just wish they'd stop. It seems to me like we should have some kind of legal recourse if they're not responding to complaints--does it become harrassment at that point?

I also get calls from this law office. They leave messages asking for someone besides me (who I don't know), and say she needs to confirm information about a client (who I also don't know). I'm usually in school when they call and while I've been lucky so far, if I forget to set my phone to vibrate, it will get me in trouble for having a cell phone on in class.

We just received one of these phone calls as well. The recorded message referred to my husband as a "Jr.," which was my first inclination that something was fishy. When I returned the call to get more info, the associate did not identify himself and his response was curt.
