I have had nothing but trouble with this company since I purchased their product, When I bought my computer, I ordered an extra feature which was not included and paid an additional amount to have it installed (a DVD drive).
When the computer arrived, the DVD drive had not been installed. Over six months of repeated communications with Dell, a service man came to install it but neglected to include the software necessary to operate it, Another two months ensued before I got this, Then after only owning the computer less than two years, it crashed completely. It was sent back to the repair center and was returned, still not working.
They replaced it with another computer which did not work either because the wrong connection was sent. This was finally replaced and this computer (the one I'm using now) works sporadically, but freezes up frequently. The numerous employees I spoke with at Dell were foreigners with a lack of understanding and extremely unhelpful.
They suggested that I should be able to resolve these problems myself. I am not a technician and I expect to receive service for what I paid for. When this computer crashes as I am sure it will in the not too distant future, I will certainly not have it replaced with a Dell product.
