Lufthansa - theft from our suitcase

Hi,

We're just back from a trip in San Francisco. We took a plane from Lufthansa in San Franciso to Franckfort and another one from Franckfort to Paris.

When we arrived in Paris, one out of our two suitcases was missing. It had not been put in the plane leaving San Francisco.

It arrived 1 day later but unfortunately our camera + accessories (value 490 Euros) had been stolen. We didn't put the lock on because it was written in the aiport not to lock the suitcases.Our guess is that someone from the secured baggage area opened the suitcase and served himself.

Could you please give us advices on how to handle the situation ?
