Earthlink / Total Access new dialup Upgrade

Please post this for all consumer's benefit - DO NOT upgrade you current Earthlink to their "Total Access" version which is being advertised as 5-10 times faster.

You will have nothing but slower than your original service and will be searching for a new ISP provider just as I am.

After having my computer worked on for repairs I was informed that problems are being commonly seen after individuals perform this upgrade and in many cases the entire system required rebuilding. Thank you for posting this so others will not make the same mistake as I have.
