Hi, Following sudden both audio & video failure of my Samsung 29 inch Tv, i booked a complaint to the Samsung service people. After thorough diagnose Samsung engineer changed "power chip" and LOT for INR 1300.00 and promised me i wont happen again. After 20 days same problem occurred, again an another engineer came and changed the "power chip", since the problem occurred within one month i have been told it's a free service . Again within one week same problem occurred, an another service engineer came and explained me this is due to heavy Oscillation (?) in LOT, and informed me that i has done some adjustment, but i last only for couple of hours, and yet an another complaint & repair but this time i have been told there should be a problem in picture tube, so they want to take it to their place. After 4 or 5 days they came up with a bill for INR 600 ! - This is for changing "power chip" ! I strongly said i can't pay again and again for same component ! They agreed ! Back to home as i expected the new "power chip" last only for couple of hours. What i see is they dont have a proper coordination between engineers, i have seen them searching and searching my old records and failed to get, record maintenance is very poor though complaint booking is computerized. Finally i lost confidence and bought a new SONY wega, actually i did want they expected me to do. Baste S pondicherry-India

While repairing last yearf 2007, i was told the service charge is not chargeable for 90 days. ok . the same complaint occured this year and i was asked to pay rs84only. just to connect a wire, they charged rs.84.the repair undertaken on 7.8.08. but the same problem erupted on 10.9.08. and they are demanding rs.250 + for the same problem how dare it is to charge rs.250 for the same problem occuring frequently. the engineer is not even touch the washing machine, but keen to collect the charges.
