WalMart

I just wondered if I was the only person alive who noticed how untrained the typical WalMart sales associate is? It seems like every WalMart I go into and purchase something at, the cashier will never say "thank you", or "thanks for shopping at WalMart" or anything like that.

You would think for the nation's largest retailer, training their employees to be polite and make the customer feel he/she is important would be a major training point-but apparently it isn't.

I almost always end up telling the cashier "thank you". It's like this phrase needs to be said and if they aren't going to say it, then I am. Someone has to. Whatever happened to customer service anyway? I tried to email WalMart about this poor customer service aspect but their electronic customer service contact site came back with a message saying they couldn't record my comments at this time!! How fitting.
