As a resident of Calaspana Apartments, I am very dissatisfied with the poor service and mistreatment of the tenants. I have had numerous problems with the hot water system and every time there is no hot water, I have to call and request service. This happens frequently like every 2-3 days. The most I have had hot water for was maybe two weeks.
After calling the management at the apartments and the general manager at the corporate office, I still have problems. They tell me empty lies about getting right on the problem and fixing it but I still have incidents where I turn on the faucet and cold water is streaming out. My Mom has been sick quite a few times and a cold shower isn't making her any better.
The people think I am making this up because miraculously after a half hour to 3 hours later, there is hot water. I don't have the time to sit around and wait on the mercy of a water tank. In addition, one night it was very cold so we checked the windows and the lock was missing. In the morning, we checked the other window and the lock was missing also. My Mom is a single mother trying to get me into college and we don't feel safe or respected living here.
We pay $1165 for rent each month and our water bill and electricity bill. When I told them of my leave from the apartments after 3 months of repeated failure to fix the water, they cared nothing about the three days of lukewarm water I have had and they tried to scare my Mom and I of our credit line and future bills to pay out the contract. If they failed to provide me with a service, I should be able to move. There is especially a woman who told us no matter what, we are forced to finish our contract and we can't break it even though there is no hot water half of the time.
these living conditions are horrible and I can't stand living in a place where there is no hot water when I need to brush my teeth, take a shower, or wash the dishes. Any respectable and dignified place would help fix the problem so the tenants are satisfied and I am certainly very dissatisfied. Thank you for at least caring and letting others beware of the problems.

They are the most retarded company. They don't listen to their tenants and they try to charge you for days that you weren't even in the apartment. I was out 5 days before my notice was supposed to end and i get a bill from them for 2 extra days. They also took the final gas/water bills out of my deposit that had already been deducted from my bank account since i had direct bill pay. As for that PW&P bill. that is a load of horse crap. Arnel actually owns that company. Their bills is almost twice the amount that I pay for a 4 bedroom house. Out of a $650 deposit I got a check today for $41 refunded to me. I could understand if my house was a mess but I am a neat freak and took care of the place a lot better than most of the apartments that i saw in there. They are the most useless people that i have ever met.
