My 1994 Dodge P/U has experienced repeated "Coil" failures, resulting in catalytic converter implosion and muffler destruction on 5 occasions while at freeway speeds. Each incident costing $450-650 for repairs.(Replace coil, Cat Convt & muffler)
Several replacement coils(That also failed) were obtained at Kragen Auto Parts. Neither Chrysler not Kragen will make good for the defective coil damage (Now at Approx. $2000)
