Cingular Wireless Cingular Wireless
January 28th, 2005 Our car broke down in Danbury, CT (the diesel gelled up then the battery died from us putting on the emergency lights for too long) so were trying to call AAA for help and we got the message: All circuits are currently busy, please try again later for the LONGEST time. My fiancé and I both have Cingular and both of our phones received the same message. We finally got through to AAA after an hour or so and by that time, our toes have already been frozen off from the 17 degrees Fahrenheit weather and were both very frustrated. The next day: January 29th, 2005, I decided to call Cingulars Customer Service to 1. Find out why the service was so bad and 2. What they can do to compensate us. I talked to this guy Tim Daniels and he told me there were quite a few towers in Danbury, but 3 of them were being down-graded yesterday so thats why we couldnt get our calls through. As for compensation, there is nothing they can do because it could happen to ANY company.
Well, any other company would have compensated us in one way or another to show us that the company is taking responsibility for the services to their customers (I know for a fact T-Mobile and MCI (as much as I hate MCI) had compensated my mom and my friends for one thing or another.) More importantly, most, if not all people depend on their cellular phones in case of emergency what good is it if is to us if it lets us down during those times? Thank you very much for reading, but I am still very angry L Daisy & Todd M Click this link to e-mail the above consumer: Email User Consumer From: Message Author (click here to email author) (no email address available) Date: Sunday, 30-Jan-05 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
