Fidelity National Home Warranty

Plumbing I had a leak from the upstairs toilet into the pantry. I called my home warranty for service. They sent someone in from San Jose. The person cut 3 big squares in the ceiling of the pantry and told me that he cannot find the leak. I paid $40 and he left. 2 days latter the leak was still there this time worse. Called the warranty company again and asked them to send someone that was more knowledgeable and he saw the leak. The repair would have cost $700. When he called for authorization, they said since the toilet was an old style and it did not have a flange then they will not be responsible for the payment.

The house is 40 years old and we bought it in 2001, we never had any plumbing problems. I called the authorization center back and tried to talk os thier manager, they said thier manager is not there and they will have him call me on Monday. I explained to him what was going on and the plumber will be back on Monday and by then I needed an authorization well no one called. Not Monday and not anytime. I paid the plumber after he finished his job. I called the company back to talk to the manager, they basically brushed me off and said they cannot do anything about it. I told them how dissatisfied I was and that I will never renew with them. To be honest, I do not know Why I did it again this year. I called back to ask them to send someone to fix the hole that the first plumber left there. They said they will and they never send anyone or called back. Now I have a huge hole in my pantry. I have had this home warranty for 3 years, do not ask me why. I have always had problem with them. Rude customer service, and the people they send to your house know nothing. Not only they do not care about customer satisfaction but they even show they do not. This company needs to use CEM and CRM programs to fix thier image. Thanks for listening
