I am an established customer of yours for many years now and I was pleasantly surprised to get your statement for November 2004, which showed a "Payment Holiday" for the due date column and a Minimum amount due as "Nil" STATEMENT PERIOD STATEMENT DATE PAYMENT DUE DATE MINIMUM PAYMENT DUE

18/10/2004 TO 17/11/2004 17/11/2004 PAYMENT HOLIDAY NIL

PAYMENT ADVICE: ABN AMRO FREEDOM CARD

Min. Amount Due NIL

Surprise turned to disgust when I got the next statement, which showed finance charges to the tune of Rs. 1411/-. I called to check on this and was told that the "Fine Print" at the back mentioned that I have to pay the full amount on the due date. I think this a complete lack of ethics by your organization and some clever guy has designed this to fool your customers. I am surprised at the cheap underhand tactics that the program designer used to increase revenue and in turn his bonus. What this has done, is to make sure customers like me will NEVER use your card or services ever again. I think this is a matter of principle and somebody out there should look into this at the earliest or you may end up losing more customers over a period of time Sincerely, Ranjit
