Subject: COMPLAINT AGAINST PRODUCT & SERVICES OF EUREKA FORBES WATER PURIFIER

I had purchased a water purifier, Model DESIGNA, S.No. 300417 in the month of DEC. 2004 from NOIDA and got it installed by them. Ever since its installation there have been problems in it. Initially there was continuous leakage, which was not attended to by Eureka Forbes for days together. It was only after my personal visit to their office in Sector 2, NOIDA that one of there technician visited to check the complaint.

He said that after each use the inlet valve is to be closed so as to stop the leakage. Now this is ridiculous. Rather than rectifying their machine they told me the alternate. Some days later another person visited my house on my repeated complaints and opened the machine to check the machine and did some thing inside and left, but the problem continued. After a couple of days the machine refused to start at all. Again after my repeated complaints another person visited and again opened my machine and again did something. The machine started functioning but the leakage continued. Now in spite of complaint Eureka Forbes has failed to rectify the defect in my machine. Three visits have been made by their technician within a span of 20 days of installation and yet nothing changed, and therefore I had requested them to replace this machine with a new one which they have refused to do. I fail to understand, that in this particular case what is the fault of a customer and why should he suffer on account of poor quality of equipment and services being given by a company which boosts so much about its quality of products.
