Toro snowblower from Home Depot

Importance: High

To Whom It May concern,

I have a complaint against Home Depot. I bought a new snowblower-Toro on Saturday which cost me $749. I did use it once but it was way to heavy for me to handle. I called up Home Depot-Roseville and talked to two people and they both told me that if I emptied out my gas tank on the blower I could bring it back along with my receipt.

We took it back on Monday with everything and the manager, Jon Stein told us that I couldn't bring it back because it was used. The only thing he told me was that he could send it to be repaired.

Their was a default in the wiring from it touching the engine. It was pre-assembled before they gave it to me. He gave me a hard time. I just want a charge credit. I want to go somewhere else to find a smaller one to have. I don't want to keep the large one. It won't be back for at least a week. They sent it out to be repaired.

Can you help me out. I also plan on calling their main HQ to make a complaint against Jon Stein and also call Consumers Affairs to complain.

If Home Depot said they would take it back...they should. I returned items to Home Depot and only once had a slight problem but they took it back. Stick to your guns! I hope that you get results.

Second, what really irritated me is the second posting about that "you voted for Obama" That was totally inappropriate and his/her posting should be removed!

Why is it the Home Depots fault that you bought a snow blower that is too heavy for you? I doubt that they can sell it as a new machine again.

Your poor decision should cost the Home Depot money.

On a side note, I bet you're voting for Obama. Your complaint is so typical of a Democrat. "You made a poor choice, so it's up to someone else to bail you out!"

Take responsibility for your own choices!
