Expedia, or IAC Interactive Corporation: I recently had an issue with whether my airline tickets were valid or not. After countless emails to Expedia, they requested that I fax a copy of the ticket. Done. A few days later I receive an email (see below). Ok, wonderful, I can now use my return ticket back to the US from the Philippines. I called to see what to do now that my ticket was valid, since they VERIFIED THE FARE RULES! Then my saga begins. This is the email, that I sent to Expedia detailing what has happened. At this point I will be placing a website about expedia on the net. Anyone with complaints about expedia email them to me, I am also contacting all of the news stations that I can find. Hopefully, I can do a phone broadcast – BECAUSE OF EXPEDIA I CANNOT LEAVE THE PHILIPPINES! They are now telling me to go beg money from the consulate… uh no thanks… my email address is Email User To call the US it is 40 cents a min. I have spent almost 4 hours on the line with these people, only to find out that the EXPEDIA OFFICES ARE IN THE PHILIPPINES. (my email) Roger thank you for the number here is a synopsis of what has happened so far. I thought per your email that this had already been researched? Sept 26 - got this date from my journal Sent an email to Email User wanted to know if my ticket was still valid and how to bring a pet back. I was told to pay approx 5,600 peso at the local office and they would reissue a ticket and that my pet would be charged as luggage. I gave the dates on my ticket roundtrip May 8 return ticket June 17. I was not asked for any further information. I deleted the email thinking that since no other information was requested this was their policy. Jan 4th 2:30p-3:15p Went to SM mall Cebu, spoke with a ticketing rep, she said that the ticket was valid for 1 year if I had called within 2 months after departure. Said to call expedia and that they will issue either another ticket or they will refund the money for the unused ticket. I asked if they have a database and could pull up the email i had sent to their office, but she said they didnt maintain records of that. emailed Email User' and Email User Jan 5th called Philippine Airlines at 12:05 to 1:45p telephone 63-02-855-8000 talked to Vener he said the ticket was good for 1 year, but that again i needed to call expedia since that is where i bought the ticket. I asked to speak with a manager. Mrs ****** came on the line said she would look into this matter. she requested that I fax a copy of the ticket to her attention. Faxed at 1:50p with telephone number and email address. never recieved a call or email from her. emailed Email User' and Email User Spent the next week trying to get information from Philippine Airlines.

Jan 11th Got an email from Roger "We have verified the fare rules. The ticket can be used for future

travel. Please call us toll free at (800) 397-3342." yeahhhh i can finally go home! Called Expedia at 7:45p- 8:20 my time - spoke with Tessa at 800-397-3342 she reviewed the information said i needed to call back from 930-530 Pacific time okay....thought this was already researched? She said that she thought Expedia will refund the money less $90. Okay... Jan 12 Called Expedia at 6:45a to 7:35a Spoke with Shannon she said she was researching, placed me on hold to speak with Gabby at Philippine airlines was on hold for 20 mins and the line went busy and I was disconnected Called back and spoke with Edith at 7:35, explained to her what had happened. She said I should call Philippine Airlines!!! I then asked if this could be handled or researched via email, because a call to the states is 40 cents a min. I had a doctor appointment at 8. So, unless I was done at 8:30a it is too late to call back. She said I will have to call back between 930-530 pacific. So, I am extremely confused. Philippine Airlines says call Expedia, then I am told by Expedia that the ticket is valid, then told to call Philippine airlines! Jan 13th Called Expedia at 6:45am, didn’t catch the girls name. Told her I wanted to check on the update on my ticket. She said “oh are you Filipino”, I said no I am American then very sarcastically she said “For a while” (for a while? Wtf) I was then automatically put on hold for over 40 mins and again the line disconnects.
