In March, 2004 a Pillowtop Beautyrest mattress, purchased at Rooms To Go in the amount of $977.00, was delivered to my new home in Delray Beach, FL. While the mattress has liverd up to the good reputation of Beautyrest the pillow top has not.

 

The insides of the pillow top have shifted and created depressions and lumps. These depressions remain even though I have turned the mattress around. In fact now the other side is developing the same problems.

 

Since this product was purchased with quality in mind, I am appalled that this defect should appear. But am even more upset to find that nothing will be done about the defect.

 

Rooms To Go sent a representative who measured the depth of the depressions and declared that it is on 1/2" deep. To qualify for a replacement the depth must be 2" deep. While this guideline is for mattresses, I don't believe a pillow top that is only 2" deep should be judged on the same guide lines.

 

How can I get attention to my problem?
