I want to make others aware of an incident I had with Advance Auto Care in Norwalk, California. I went there to have my windshield replaced and my brakes inspected and possible change, since my front right wheel was squeeking.

I was informed that my car did not need brakes ($89), but did need my front right and left axels replaced to correct the squeek. However, when I went to pick up my car, the noise was still there. I called them 2 days later, and was told to bring the car back. When I took the car back, and a mechanic test drove the car. I was then told that it was a different noise and not the same problem. My question to them was that I came to have that problem resolved, and if there was another existing problem, I should have been notified of this when they informed my of the axel problem. The mechanic shrugged his shoulders and I am out of $245 (the cost to replace both axels), and still have a noise problem. Advance Auto Care is located at 14315 Pioneer Blvd, Norwalk, CA.
