I have been in touch with Dell Customer Care several times and received two different credit authorization numbers. Neither credit has been applied to my account, yet dell continues to call me for payment. I advised Dell I would pay my balance on my bill "once it was corrected and credited" AND reflected the correct amount.
This has been going on since October 2004 and has not been resolved yet. I would suggest if you want to get paid and you owe people a credit on their account, that you do the right thing or take the loss.
