Golf Clubs/ Montes Golf Golf Store, Ft. Myers Florida My brother wanted Nike Slingshot knockoffs for Christmas. I researched a few sites and Montes Golf had what I was looking for. I ordered the set of clubs on 12/11/04. After an entire week went by, I had not heard from them; I wasnt worried because I shipped them 3-day air, which cost me $20, but I wanted the clubs to arrive by Christmas. On 12/21, I called Montes Golf, no answer; I left a message and then emailed them. A few days go by, nothing.
No word from that at all. Finally, I get an email saying my clubs were shipped, but they did not give me a tracking number. I call again, no answer. I emailed them, nothing. Finally, I got an email with a tracking number. When I contacted UPS with the tracking number, they said it was not valid. They gave me a fake tracking number. I finally got somebody from Montes Golf on the phone, and they said everyone was on vacation; it is convenient how an entire business goes on vacation and leaves their customers in the dark during Christmas. The guy I talked to said he just answered phones and knew nothing about my problem.
What good customer service! As of today, I have yet to receive my clubs, and every time I call, nobody answers. I finally did get a real tracking number, and my clubs are supposed to be here in a few days. At this point, it doesnt even matter. Christmas has come and gone. I finally did receive the clubs (a month after I ordered them).
I could have driven down and back from Florida and picked them up myself. I still have yet to hear from anyone from Montes Golf apologizing or offering to refund my 3-day shipping that I wasted. Montes Golf is an absolute joke of a company and my bank is in the process of researching them. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE.
