Comcast digital cable problems

I have digital cable and telephone through comcast. I have had two digital boxes or whatever put in because of phone problems where people could not call me or even leave messages. Lately there was a change in the TV Guide for Comacast and my digital cable is in the shitter.

About every 7-8 minutes the download light turns on. There is a light to the right of the time that indicates download in progress. There are times, I timed it, where I cannot change the station, turn the cable off for up to 2 minutes. They sent a man out and replace the cable box but itn several days it was even worse.

Comcasrt is totally unresponsive because they have a serious software problem in a download they made to all comcast subscribers to digital in Bedford NH. There was no such problem until several montsha go when the TV Guide changed. I asked for the old one back and they just laughed.

I'm going back to a dish.
