On January 27, 2005, I placed an order with American Hardwood Flooring for $4464.00, which included a $150 "rush order" fee and was told by salesperson Jeff Caves that I would receive my flooring within two weeks "guaranteed". I now know why they do not accept credit cards (only faxed voided check). You cannot speak to a human representative by phone.

You can only talk on an online chat room. I inquire daily about my order and all I am told is that the wood has been shipped from the mill and it will be 7-10 business days before delivery. That was over two weeks ago.

I have asked to speak with the delivery company and am told that it is a Canadian delivery company and they do not wish to speak with the consumer. (unheard of) I am beginning to feel that this may be a "boileroom operation" and I got duped.

I have been advised by the BBB and Nevada Consumer Affairs Division that there have been several complaints against this company for deception in its sales. I have filed complaints also.
