Home Depot / New Roof

We signed a contract to have our roof done by Home Depot on 10-26-04 and were told the job would be started at least in eight to ten weeks which would have put the job (ten weeks) on 01-05-2005. Well here we are 2-27-05 and still no new roof, we have called and left several messages which I might add we have not been able to get answers to our questions. Mid January we had a gentleman come out ready to do the final inspection on the roof he stated" the job had been called in ready for final inspection" well I called letting Home Depot know the situation and we were told by the Project Manager that he did not know what was going on, so we asked if he could find out and let us know well we are still waiting for his answer.

On 2-13-05 our shingles were delivered and placed on top on the roof and we of course were excited thinking that we were closer on getting our new roof, well then around 2-20-05 we recieve a phone call from the project coordinater stating "that they are still in the process of locating the shingles we had ordered (Sunset Brick) we had to let them know that the shingles were already at our home the project coordinater stated "she did not know what was going on and would look into our case".

We recieved a phone call from her on 2-21-05 stating that she was coordinating to get our roof done this week the week of 2-20-05. Well here we sit on 2-27-05 a little fustrated with Home Depot because nobody has been able to give us specific answers to our questions the only thing we have heard throughout this experience has been that "we don't know what's going on" so I would like to add our first major Home Improvement with Home Depot has not been a pleasant one. 1st we have not had reponses to our messages left to the Home Depot Crew. 2nd we feel like they have placed our case on the back burner and not looking to satisfy us as consumers. 3rd nobody has known nothing about our case. We have had to do all the calling around and all we ever get is people's voice mails. So at this point I would like to know what we can do about this ongoing situation.

We truly would like our deposit back and the permit they pulled voided so we can get our roof done by someone who is waiting to do it for us. I'm not sure the exact store we are dealing with all I have is phone numbers.
